LESLIE ALEXANDER
BLOG

Leslie Alexander grew up on an Alberta sheep farm and couldn't wait to hit the road, make a bunch of mistakes and write about them. She wound up singing on a Vancouver street corner for spare change and does not consider this a mistake. After playing her songs from coast to coast across Canada and the US, she returned to her home town, got her nursing license, and formed a classic rock cover band.
Since she finds the truth stranger than fiction, her current work in creative non-fiction draws on these and other experiences. Leslie's features and reviews have turned up in Queens Quarterly Literary Review, Existere Arts & Literature Review, Words & Music Magazine, and Roots Music Canada. Former editor of Personal Success Magazine, she now offers services as free-lance copywriter and editor.
